PayoutFlow

Terms of Service

Last updated 4 September 2026

These terms cover how you and your team use PayoutFlow to request, approve and send M-Pesa payments.

Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using PayoutFlow you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the business or organisation you represent. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the business details you register, for keeping your sign-in details secure, and for the actions of everyone you invite to your account. Administrators control who can initiate and who can approve payments, and can remove members at any time.

Roles and approvals

Payments follow the approval rules set on your account. An administrator or manager may approve payments, including ones they initiated themselves. Once a payment is approved and sent it cannot be recalled through PayoutFlow; any recovery must be arranged directly with the recipient or with Safaricom.

Float and top-ups

Payouts are made from the float held on your account. You are responsible for topping up before initiating payments, and for confirming that a top-up has been credited before relying on it. Failed payouts are returned to your float once Safaricom confirms the failure.

Payment accuracy

You are responsible for the recipient details you enter — phone numbers, till numbers, paybill numbers and account references. We pass these to M-Pesa as supplied. Payments sent to the wrong recipient because of incorrect details are not our responsibility.

Fees

Any subscription or transaction fees are those agreed with you in writing. Safaricom's own M-Pesa charges apply separately and are not set by us.

Acceptable use

You may not use PayoutFlow for unlawful payments, money laundering, fraud, or any activity that breaches Safaricom's rules or applicable Kenyan law. We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is being misused.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but it depends on third-party systems including M-Pesa, which can be interrupted. The service is provided as is, and to the extent permitted by law our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Ending your use

You can stop using PayoutFlow at any time and ask us to close your account. We may end access where these terms are breached. Your statements and records remain available to you until your account is closed.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service develops and will note the effective date above. Questions can be sent to support@payoutflow.app. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
